PhD Defense Ceremony
PhD Defense Ceremony itself usually lasts for 1.5 hours, which includes 15 minutes' layman talk, 45 minutes' defense, and receiving the degree, followed by speeches from your supervisors.
I will arrive 30 minutes in advance and stay for roughly an hour afterwards to take group pictures for you and those wonderful moments when friends and colleagues congratulate you.
If you also want me to stay for the after-party, we can discuss the process and quote!
Portrait Session
In this one-hour session, we'll work together to capture your emotions and beauty in a setting that fits the style you choose/want. You can choose a variety of locations from outdoor to indoor options.
We can, for example, take some blue-hour shots on the dunes, naturalistic pictures in a park, urban-style photos on the street, or even cozy portraits at home.
Extended Portrait
Similar to the 1-hour portrait session, but with more time and flexibility. The only difference is that you can bring 2 outfits to change if you want! And receive more pictures of course.

Before Booking
Available packages are presented above. For other kinds of needs such as couple portraits, friends portraits etc., send me a message through the contact form with details of your request, and I'll respond within 24 hours with a quote.
For academic events, I highly recommend reaching out as soon as your event date is confirmed. Booking at least one month in advance is ideal to ensure availability.
That said, if you've only recently discovered my work and feel touched by it, please don't hesitate to get in touch - it might still work out, you never know ;)
Yes! I won't charge travel costs if the session is in Amsterdam. But for photoshoots outside of Amsterdam, travel expenses will be added (honestly) on top of the service.
ABSOLUTELY! A 30-minute pre-event consultation will be scheduled after we confirm the booking. We can discuss the style you want, any specific moments, people, or details you'd like me to pay special focus on.
I will take extra care of my body when your special day is coming :) But if anything unexpected happens, I will make sure to inform you in time and find someone else to replace me.
Makeup is not included in the service, so you need to prepare it on your own before the session.
No I don't. I am not good at multitasking during photography sessions. Please find an extra person if you want any videos to be recorded.
Editing usually includes colour correction, exposure adjustments, and other general enhancements to make photos look more polished. This is usually enough for event photography.
Fine editing focuses on details such as removing distractions, facial adjustments, or adjusting other specific elements to tailor to your expectations.
After the Session
You'll receive your photos in 2 weeks after the session.
If fine-editing is involved, you will first receive a preliminary selection of edited photos in 2 weeks after the session. Once you confirm which pictures you'd love to have fine-edited, you will receive them one week later.
No I don't. But you'll receive high-resolution images which are suitable for professional printing at 300 DPI. Each image file is up to about 60 MB, providing excellent print quality.
Your photos will be shared with you securely via Google Drive. Once you have download them, I will delete the folder from Google Drive. I am also actively exploring alternative delivery methods that do not involve major tech companies.
You'll have full personal and professional use rights to all images — you may print, share, and publish them freely for your own use.
I retain the copyright as the photographer, but I will only use your images in my portfolio or on social media with your explicit permission. Without your consent, I will not post, share, or publish your photos anywhere else.
All images are stored securely on my hard drive and can be deleted upon your request at any time.
